Terms of Use
Draft updated September 9, 2026
Prelaunch draft
This document is a draft for the private Meetup for Dinner preview. The legal operator, business address, support contact, launch jurisdictions, and effective date must be completed and reviewed before public registration or payments. Operator: [legal entity pending]. Contact: [support email pending].
Who can join
You must be at least 18 and legally able to agree to these terms. Provide accurate information and use only photos you have permission to share. Do not impersonate another person, create deceptive accounts, or use the service after suspension.
Your account and content
You remain responsible for your account activity and the content you submit. You retain ownership of your content and grant the operator a limited license to store, display, and process it to operate and moderate the service. Do not publish private contact details, sensitive third-party information, or unlawful content.
Dinner invitations
An offer states what the sender proposes to provide for a first date. New offers specify a cash incentive in USD, provided directly by the sender at the first date. The incentive is separate from dining costs and platform messaging credits. Meetup for Dinner does not collect, hold, transfer, enforce, or guarantee the incentive. The recipient sees the proposed incentive before accepting or declining. Previously sent offers retain their original terms if the format changes. Agree on the place, timing, incentive, and dining costs before meeting. Either person may decline or leave at any time. No offer creates an entitlement to intimacy, sex, affection, or further contact. An accepted offer is not a restaurant reservation or a guarantee of attendance. The final enforceability and cancellation policy requires jurisdiction-specific legal review.
Credits and purchases
Preview pricing is provisional and checkout is disabled unless explicitly configured in test mode. Credits, when enabled, buy access to platform features and have no cash value. They are not money transfers to other members. Review purchase terms before paying. No automatic renewal or top-up is currently enabled.
Safety and moderation
Members must follow the Community Guidelines. Reports and profile content may be reviewed, and accounts or content may be limited or removed for violations. Verification, if offered later, is not a guarantee of identity, conduct, or safety. The service does not currently conduct background checks or identity verification.
Availability and responsibility
No matches, replies, dates, or particular outcomes are guaranteed. The service may experience interruptions. Members make their own decisions about offline meetings. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded. Jurisdiction-specific liability, dispute resolution, cancellation rights, and governing law provisions remain subject to legal review.
Ending your account
Use Settings to delete your account. Profile, photo, and conversation data are removed through that flow; limited purchase and safety records may be retained for applicable obligations and legitimate safety needs as disclosed in the Privacy Notice.
Changes and contact
Material changes should be notified before they take effect where required. A functioning support and legal notice channel must be configured before launch.
